Every corner of the interior is crafted entirely by hand: from the hand-painted fireplace to the carved antique buffets.

In the double-height living room, a glazed-tile fireplace features a medallion hand-painted with a scene of a mounted hunt by the water. Above the living room is a gallery with a French balustrade dating to the 1920s. A hand-fired ceramic chandelier defines the vertical axis of the space.

The dining room houses antique hand-carved buffets displaying a collection of cobalt-painted porcelain. In the second lounge room, the fabrics come together as an ornamental kaleidoscope, with the fireplace as its focal point. The tiles were deliberately underfired, then hand-painted to achieve the look of aged patina and cast iron.
